5/1/08 Added my new logo graphic to the front page of my website! Designed by professional Graphic Artist Chad Savage of SinisterVisons.

4/27/08 Purchased a corpse/skeleton costume from Spookywoods FX! Cant wait for this to arrive! This is a true Hollywood quality costume! Check out the pictures and videos on the Spookywoods FX site! They look great in pictures but look even better in person!

4/22/08-4/27/08 Attended HauntCon 2008 Houston. Pre show tour was two cities in two days. Batton Rouge and New Orleans. Over the week we visited a total of six theatrical Haunted Houses that were opened up just for the convention attendees, and several other "real" haunted locations. They included..........

The 13th Gate Baton Rouge. Personally I feel that this is the absolute best haunted house I have ever visited......... The detail, sets and actors were all amazing. The suspension of disbelief was temendous even for haunters like our group. Every themed area felt just like a Movie set. Owner Dwyane Sanburn and crew have a lot to be proud of here!
Myrtles Plantation Our tour guide here was excellent! Also the best home cooked Southern meal on the trip!
The Chamber of Horrors New Orleans
The House of Shock New Orleans.Their pre show was a little bit out of my realm of taste, but I liked the pyrotechnics. The Haunted House was well done and very over the top and in your face, but the House of Shock is not known for their conforming to the "rules"
Walking tour of St. Louis Cemetery #1 Supposed Voodoo priestess Marie Laveau is buried here.
The Mortuary , New Orleans. We got an "in construction" tour of this theatrical haunted house built inside a real historic and supposedly haunted Mortuary, next to a large real cemetery. This haunted house was very high-tech and it was obvious that the owners are sinking a lot of money into what promises to be a top notch attraction.
Nightmare on the Bayou Houston Tx Very nice haunt combined with a party supply and costume shop.
Phobias Hauned House Houston Tx This is probably the largest and most popular haunted house in the Houston Metro area. Very well done. Innovative use of used metal shipping containers to build a haunt structure!

3/16/08-3/18/08 Attended Transworld HCP and Haunted Attractions Show in LasVegas. Made some new purchases, gathered a lot of good ideas and had a great time! Looks like Transworld is moving back to Chicago next year. In January no less! BRRRR! Will post some pics from Vegas soon!

10/28/07 Wow! A Record Breakiing opening night. We has 320 guests go through the haut in one night!Typically that is our average total over two nights. I believe our previous record for a single night was around 270. We started promptly at 7pm and went until about 10:45 before we got the last guests through. We had some long wait times but all guests were very patient. We had three guides taking guests through the haunt in as fast as our throughput allowed. Unfortunately we had a 2-3 minuite downpour at about 10:30 and some of our guests and props got a little wet but thankfully that stopped and we were able to get the last folks through and were able to clean up and put things away without more rain. We had over 90 guests volunteer to have their picture taken with Old Uncle Bucky. This was more popular than I anticipated and it will take a little longer to compile the photo page. We will have these pictures posted as aoon as possible here.

10/1/07 FearNet.com was interested in coming out to film Kingsbury Cemetery to feature us among the best Home Haunts in the US on its website. They were featuring a new home haunt video clip every day of October until Halloween. Unfortunately with their tight production schedule and my inability to have nearly all of the Haunt up and running two weeks before Halloween meant that we were not featured this year.

9/30/07 Added and updated the new props 2007 page.

9/28/07 Made a long (570 miles) trip to Ulster park NY to visit Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted House. It was definitely worth the trip!

5/3/07- 5/6/07 Attended HauntCon in Dearborn Michigan, near Detroit with my wife Anna. Loads of useful seminars, excellent tradeshow,a Fabulous Haunted Costume Ball, plus we got to attend three excellent Haunted Attractions. The Terrorfied Forest, Erebus 4 story haunt and Realm of Darkness in Pontiac Michigan. Pics to be posted soon. Definitely making plans for hauntcon 2008 in Houston Tx.

4/27/07 The Skulltronix has arrived!! Got it set up and working this weekend. Amazing product!

4/9/07 Attended the Chauvet Interstate Tour. This was a two day seminar the day after Easter in Atlantic City, NJ, that demonstrated and taught about programming intelligent lighting fixtures using DMX512. I hope to use this knowlege to be able to program my outdoor lighting to automaticallly and subtly change colors and scenes via a laptop computer. DMX will also be used to automatically control the lighting on the Skulltronix animatronic.

1/26/07 Kingsbury Cemetery Website is transferred to its new host Godaddy.com and its new registered domain name KingsburyCemetery.com.

11/18/06 Watch for a new Kingsbury Cemetery website to appear........without the ads and popups! early 2007 at www.kingsburyecmetery.com Domain name has been registered and host server space purchased..... Now I just need time to transfer and update website.

4/7/06 Lots of planning work being done already on this years haunt. Back story for 2006 "Ghost in the Mirror" is finished and will be posted soon. Many new props in store for this year. Several new buckies are on the way which will be corpsified and electronics added to animate them. New room layouts. New automated garage tour start area with entrance spiel. New DMX controlled lighting. Professional lighting stands and fixtures so that I will have complete control over dimming, switching, and fading lights. This will also allow multiple lighting scenes set in memory and the ability to fade from one scene to another on command. We need more new volunteers for this year!
